May the peace and love of Jesus Christ be with you all.
Hello, and welcome to our parish community online ...
Celebrate Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes online via YouTube (available after 9am Sunday):
Link to: Sacred Hearts Community
From 4th of July next Saturday we can celebrate mass.We welcome this news with great joy and, we are looking forward again to celebrating the Holy Eucharist with you. We have put in place all the measures needed to ensure the risks of virus transmission are minimised. This includes effective hand sanitisation, social distancing, and cleaning. We remain committed to making sure these systems meet Government and public health standards.
Our lives have been changed by the experience of the pandemic and it is clear that we cannot simply return to how things were before lockdown.
It is important to reaffirm that, at present, the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains suspended. Please be aware that there will be a limit on the number of people who can attend Mass in our churches. We cannot return immediately to our customary practices. This next step is not, in any sense, a moment when we are going 'back to normal.'
So we ask you to think carefully about how and when you will return to Mass. Given that the obligation to attend Sunday mass is suspended, we ask you to consider attending Mass on a weekday. With the necessity to maintain social distancing there will be limitations on the number of people who can attend the same mass. It will not be possible for everyone to attend Mass on Sunday given social distancing requirements.
Choose One Mass Per Week
The Church will open half an hour before mass time
Please follow the social distancing requirements and directions of the stewards. Sadly we cannot offer toilet facilities at this time, toilets will remain closed. Please note once capacity is reached there will be no further admittance.
Please contact one of the priests if you can help with cleaning of stewardship.
